Cairo, October 15, 2024: Taaleem is thrilled to announce a substantial growth in enrollments for the 2024/25 academic year. As of 03 October 2024, the total student base across Taaleem’s universities has increased by 33%, reaching 12,251 students. Additionally, the Company’s new intake quota utilization stands at an impressive 93%, demonstrating strong operational efficiency, market demand, and competitiveness, while positioning the company for potential future growth and continued financial success. This growth has been primarily fueled by Taaleem’s medical faculties, which have recorded a remarkable 31% increase in enrollments, currently serving a total of 7,969 students. Notably, the Faculty of Medicine achieved an exceptional 63% rise in enrollments year-on-year, highlighting the increasing demand for quality medical education within its universities. This surge not only reflects Taaleem's commitment to excellence in healthcare education but also underscores its pivotal role in meeting the growing needs of the medical sector in Egypt.
In addition to the strong performance in medical education, the Faculty of Computer Science within Taaleem’s universities has seen an impressive 63% increase in enrollments, reflecting a growing demand for technology-related studies. Furthermore, Taaleem’s 14 operating faculties are accepting student registrations until mid-November 2024.
NUB's Medical Faculties have experienced a significant surge in enrollments, further solidifying the university's reputation as a leader in medical education, with medical students currently comprising 64% of the total student population. This growth is complemented by the recent issuance of presidential decrees completing the licensing process for the new Faculties of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the upcoming launch of the University Hospital, further solidifying NUB’s position as a key healthcare and medical training hub in the region.
Furthermore, Badya University, in its inaugural year of operations, welcomed a remarkable 88% of its students into the medical faculties, supported by a strategic partnership with the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB).
